Elementary String Orchestra
Elementary Strings at Princes Quay - May 2007
The Elementary String Orchestra consists of violin, viola, cello and double-bass players from pre-grade 1 to grade 2 ABRSM standard. The ensemble play a wide variety of music and perform once each term.
The orchestra is conducted by Mrs K McEwen and rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6.00 until 7.30 in the main hall of the Albemarle Music Centre. Tutors for the Elementary String Orchestra are Mr D Wright - upper strings, Mr C Maynard - upper strings and piano accompaniment, Ms C Nolan - lower strings.
